The Wordless Book

My mother-in-law recently made this for my kids and a couple of girls at church. I got to thinking about how it came about so I looked it up. You know how you look something up and are disappointed because it wasn't what you thought it would be. Well, this was even better than I thought it would be!

Spurgeon was the one to create the base for the wordless book in a sermon he did with some orphans in 1866. He used Red, Black and White. Moody later added Gold in 1875. Since then more colors have been added.

Wordless book song
My heart was dark with sin, Until the Savior came in; His precious blood, I know, has washed me white as snow. And in God's Word, I'm told, I'll walk the street of gold; To grow in Christ each day, I read my Bible and pray.

here is one of the songs i know...
