Leland-Madison Memorial
Madison wanted the Baptist support in Virginia for ratifying the Constitution. He meet with John Leland who said the Baptist would only support it if, Madison would secure their religious liberty with a bill of rights.
This is a present day Ebenezer for hitherto hath the LORD help us.
